Scarborough Virtual Urgent Care Clinic:
The Scarborough Virtual Urgent Care clinic is a partnership between Scarborough Health Network (SHN) and the East GTA Family Health Team. The clinic offers low-acuity urgent care services for adults and children (aged three months or older). Consenting patients can visit the SHN website to complete a self-registration form and a self-assessment tool. Virtual Urgent Care Clinic services are available Monday-Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m.
The Scarborough eReferral Project:
Scarborough Ontario Health Team (SOHT), Scarborough Health Network (SHN), and Scarborough Family Physicians Network (SFPN) are proud to present The Scarborough eReferral Project. In collaboration with the Ontario Medical Association (OMA), the project team will work to identify all Specialists and Primary Care Providers in Scarborough who may be interested in onboarding onto eReferrals via two tools, Ocean and EpicCare Link.
If you are a provider set up on TELUS PS Suite, Accuro or Oscar Pro EMRs, then Ocean eReferral enables you to launch referrals directly from the patient chart in your EMR to destinations already available in the Ocean eReferral Network. If you are a specialist on one of these three EMRs, you can also receive referrals in Ocean and import them electronically into your EMR. Ocean eReferral has been in operation for several years in the province, but it is new to Central East and SOHT. We are actively collaborating on developing a wide range of Ocean eReferral destinations in our region.

Online Appointment Booking:
Scarborough Family Physicians Network and Scarborough Ontario Health Team are providing implementation support for online appointment booking to providers (Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, and Specialists) working in primary care.
Our staff have the expertise to support you at NO cost to you. Licensing costs will be covered up to March 31st, 2023. Please note that this support is for the OCEAN booking tool ONLY; other platforms are not being supported by our team at this time.
