Our New Operating Structure

June 27, 2022 – SOHT’s Collaboration Council approved the new operating structure of our Ontario Health Team. SOHT’s new Operating Structure will include the creation of 4 new committees: an Operations Committee that will oversee all operations of sector tables, standing committees and integrated implementation teams (and will provide updates to the Collaboration Council as required), a Governance Committee, a Finance Committee, and a Recovery and Sustainability Committee (that will focus on continued response and recovery of COVID-19 with additional scopes around system recovery such as preventative care and other pressure points identified by our Scarborough community).

Our New Operating Structure
Based on this new structure, SOHT’s Collaboration Council has endorsed a Call to Action for all Sector Tables in our OHT to develop Implementation Teams based on change ideas for system transformation. These Implementation Teams can be focused on internal sector transformation or cross-sectoral implementations where teams consist of partners from various sectors to drive integration, similar to our Collaborative QIP Project Teams. SOHT staff will be reaching out to all sector chairs to facilitate brainstorming sessions for the creation of SOHT Implementation Teams.
